Anxiety Around Food Allergies & Maintaining A Healthy Safe Balance
This presentation will be co-lead by Megan Lewis, a nurse practitioner and program manager of the Food Allergy Center, and Dr. Katherine Dahlsgaard, a psychologist specializing in the treatment of food allergy-related anxiety. It will address and correct the prevalent myths about food allergies that contribute unnecessarily to anxiety, as well as discuss strategies for reasonable, safe, and sane risk assessment and practices of daily living with food allergies.
